1. Who we are
26weeks.ai is a product of Renojas Technologies Private Limited ("26weeks.ai", "we", "us", or "our").
2. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (the "Service").
3. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Service and which features you enable. We collect the following types of information:
- Account and identifiers (e.g., name, email address, and authentication identifiers). If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information such as your name and email address.
- Training and coaching data (e.g., goals, onboarding inputs, planned and completed workouts, check-ins, perceived effort, recovery notes, and coaching preferences).
- Health data (optional) if you connect Apple Health / HealthKit, such as workout summaries and health metrics you authorize (for example heart rate, resting heart rate, height, weight, and related body composition metrics).
- Connected-device data (optional) if you connect Garmin, WHOOP, or similar providers, such as workout summaries, sleep summaries, readiness and recovery metrics, and related wellness data that you authorize us to import.
- Location data (optional) if you use run tracking features, including precise location during an activity. If you enable it, we may collect background location to keep tracking while your device is locked.
- User content you submit (e.g., coach chat messages, notes, and any files you choose to upload).
- Media and device access (optional) if you use features that access your camera or photo library (for example to create and share training visuals).
- Purchases, such as subscription status and purchase history needed to provide paid features. Payment processing for iOS subscriptions is handled by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Notifications, such as push notification tokens and your notification preferences, if you enable push notifications.
- Usage and diagnostics, such as device information, IP address, app/website interactions, and logs that help us keep the Service secure and debug issues. Our website may also use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality and performance measurement.
4. Apple Health / HealthKit
If you choose to connect Apple Health / HealthKit, we access only the data types you authorize. We use this information to power coaching insights, progress tracking, and (when you request it) syncing workout summaries to Apple Health.
We do not use Apple Health / HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Service
- Personalize training plans, insights, and coaching
- Support subscriptions and entitlement checks
- Send service and coaching-related notifications (if enabled)
- Maintain safety, security, and fraud prevention
- Provide customer support and respond to requests
- Improve the Service (including aggregated analytics)
6. AI processing
26weeks uses a third-party AI provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, to power AI-backed features such as plan generation and Coach responses. Before we send your personal data for those features, we show an in-app disclosure and require you to affirmatively accept it. If you decline, AI-backed planning and Coach stay unavailable until you accept.
Data sent to that provider can include your onboarding answers, profile details and preferences, training-plan and schedule context, imported workout, sleep, and wellness summaries from connected sources, your Coach messages, and any files or notes you choose to submit for coaching.
We send that data to generate plans, answer coaching questions, and provide related AI guidance inside the Service. We configure those requests so the third-party AI provider does not retain that request data. We do not use that data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
7. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, for example with vendors that provide authentication, hosting, storage, push notifications, customer support, and payments. We may also share information:
Examples can include Apple (for In-App Purchases and HealthKit integrations where enabled) and Google/Firebase (for authentication and push notifications).
- With third-party services you choose to connect (e.g., Apple Health / HealthKit), based on your permissions.
- With providers that help deliver AI features, including OpenAI, strictly to provide the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety.
- In connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not "track" you across other companies' apps and websites for targeted advertising.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes, including security and compliance. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal information within our systems subject to legal, fraud-prevention, backup, and operational retention requirements.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can control device permissions (such as Health, Location, Photos, and Notifications) in iOS Settings. You may also disconnect third-party integrations through the applicable provider settings and/or within the Service where available.
You can delete your account in-app where that option is available. You can also request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
10. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the Service, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
12. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred and processed across borders.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when changes were made.
