The 42K starts on Paseo de Cervantes at 08:30
The official registration platform names the same May 16 date and Paseo Cervantes location. Match the 42K selection to your entry confirmation. The festival also offers 21K, 10K, 5K and children’s races, whose routes and services are not interchangeable with the marathon.
The 42K course page gives the start but does not describe every turn in text. Download the current full-distance map and check the final finish and access arrangements before planning a spectator meeting. The broad Mendizorroza label should not replace the precise assembly instructions issued for your starting group.
The organizer’s entry platform lists marathon price tiers of €50, €55 and €65, with availability determined by the current tier. It also lists a chip bib, shirt, marathon gift, refreshments, accident insurance, finisher medal and digital diploma. Check the live checkout for the actual total and any options rather than assuming the lowest tier is still available.
Groups and clubs have their own discount bands. If entering with others, follow the group process before paying separately and do not assume a later refund. Use the final race guide to establish collection, aid spacing and cutoffs; the published start time alone is insufficient to plan the whole race morning. If travelling with someone in a shorter race, compare both course maps and finishing times before agreeing on a meeting point. Choose a location that remains reachable without crossing the active full-marathon course.
