Tuttlingen’s Danube loops and the solo-marathon start
The weekend is advertised for June 5–6, but the individual marathon has its own Sunday start. Check that category on your confirmation. The relay starts later and has exchange points, so its schedule and transition instructions should not be used for a solo-marathon arrival plan.
The organizer describes a mostly flat circuit with a small difference between its highest and lowest points. That figure is not the same as total accumulated climbing. Review the full map and turns, keep space on the pontoon crossing, and follow the marked route through both laps rather than estimating completion from the watch alone.
The full marathon offers a personal-refreshment drop at the Festplatz on Sunday morning. Confirm the current labelling, hand-in deadline and exact tables in the final briefing. Practise using the bottles or food you intend to leave, and retain a workable plan if you miss a personal item during the race.
The organizer prohibits outside assistance such as a cyclist pacing a runner. Ask supporters to use the approved viewing points instead of accompanying you on the course. Baggage is collected near number distribution and returned against the bib, so keep identification available after finishing. Save the current collection and bag-opening hours, give supporters the Festplatz finish location, and leave time for the walk between parking, registration and the starting area.
