Pichi Richi’s separate start locations and Quorn bus planning
The event is not a single shared start with runners choosing how far to continue. The full, half, 10.5 km and shorter categories have different starting locations. Confirm the full-marathon bus destination and departure time before booking transport, and give companions the correct location for their own category.
The 2026 registration warned of a southbound road closure from Quorn to Stirling North between 07:30 and 13:00. Those times are historical, but the access issue remains a useful planning question for the next edition. Do not assume a supporter can drive freely along the race route or return by the same road during the event.
The organizer’s website directs runners to book buses during registration if they need transport from Quorn. Check whether the new booking includes your required journey, where you board and what happens after finishing. A race entry and a transport reservation are separate details to verify; keep both confirmations accessible.
The completed 2026 event used advance registration deadlines, with race-day entry described only for the small dash categories. A statement about junior or open-dash registration is not permission to arrive and enter the full marathon. Wait for the next full-distance programme before fixing travel or a taper. When it appears, review the route profile, collection, aid stations, supported cutoff and road-closure notice together. The full-marathon minimum age in the older entry was 18; check the current rules and your exact category rather than reusing the half-marathon eligibility or start time.

These details identify the race page; they do not establish the next edition's operations. The previous race date does not establish the next edition. Wait for the organizer’s announcement before committing to a race-day schedule.
