The Memorial start and two full-marathon gates
The first gate requires reaching mile 7.5 within one hour and forty-five minutes of the last starter; runners missing it are redirected to the half-marathon course. The mile-twenty gate is five hours after the last starter, with transport provided for those arriving later. Assess both checkpoints when choosing an effort plan rather than considering only the final finish limit.
The course passes downtown, Bricktown, the State Capitol and surrounding neighborhoods. The event commemorates those killed in the Oklahoma City bombing, with named banners along the route. Allow room for other runners and keep the opening miles controlled through the shared start, especially if the atmosphere encourages a faster pace than you have practised.
Collection is at the Oklahoma City Convention Center, 100 Mick Cornett Drive, on Friday April 23 or Saturday April 24. Bring the required photo identification and bib number from the confirmation email. The organizer states that packets are collected at the expo before race day, so a Sunday-morning arrival without a bib is not a workable default plan.
The finish festival is at Scissortail Park, separate from the Memorial start and the expo venue. Map those locations as three distinct stops and arrange a meeting point outside the runner flow. If entering the optional Saturday 5 km plus Sunday marathon challenge, include that extra running in your weekend plan. Confirm final corral timing, station products and transport in the participant guide before relying on older instructions.
