Run Nash’s autumn race is a half marathon and 5K
The fraction in the event name matters: a half marathon is 21.1 km, not the full 42.195 km distance. Select the category on the current registration page and use preparation appropriate to that distance. An older marathon directory entry should not lead you to buy a half-marathon place expecting a full-distance race.
Nashville hosts several unrelated running events. The spring Rock ’n’ Roll race and the autumn Run Nash event have different organizers, dates and participant guides. Their partnership offers do not merge the two race programmes, and a discount or challenge medal is not evidence that both offer the same distances.
The current Run Nash calendar also includes shorter races such as the July 4th 5K and Turkey Trot. Those dates and routes should not be carried into this autumn listing. When choosing a race, check the event’s complete name, year and distance together rather than relying on the city alone.
For the half marathon, read its own course and traffic notice before choosing accommodation or a pickup point. Confirm collection hours, start access, baggage and the finish limit with the organizer, and leave time to walk around closed streets. A companion entering the 5K may have a different schedule, so agree on a meeting place outside the finish lane. Use the actual route profile to prepare for effort changes and practice with familiar supplies. If your goal is a full marathon, choose an event that explicitly sells a full-distance entry and verify its date separately. This page keeps the older listing visible while correcting its current format. The October date belongs to the announced half marathon and 5K only; it must not appear as a confirmed full marathon in the 2027 calendar or be used to calculate a full-marathon taper.

These details identify the race page; they do not establish the next edition's operations. The previous race date does not establish the next edition. Wait for the organizer’s announcement before committing to a race-day schedule.
