Separate the airfield start from the stadium facilities
The Grési'courant organizer announces April 4, 2027 but explicitly warns that registration is not yet open and the detailed pages still need updating. The previous course information describes a flat route by the Isère, with a start at Le Versoud airfield and race facilities and finish at Stade Philippe Agud. Those older details are a preview, not final 2027 instructions.
The prior start and stadium are approximately 1.5 km apart. If that layout is retained, arriving at the stadium at the gun time would not get you to the start on time. Build collection, baggage handling and the transfer to the airfield into one morning schedule, then replace the estimates with the organizer's new reporting times when published.
Use the full course map to understand the river crossings and the return to the stadium. A flat description can help shape training, but it does not remove the need to pace by the day's conditions. Practise steady running on comparable paths and plan aid stops without assuming a repeated riverbank view means you have returned to the same point in the race.
The old information says the event is not labelled or certified. Anyone needing a qualifying marathon should check the new edition's status and the destination event's requirements before entering for that purpose. Likewise, do not reuse the old fee deadlines, start times or intermediate cutoffs from a page the organizer has marked for revision. Keep the confirmed 2027 date in the calendar while leaving those operational details provisional until the new guide is available.
