Lincoln’s half-course gate and campus finish
The full and half marathon share the first part of the course before their routes separate. Review the full-distance continuation at the half finish rather than following the largest group automatically. Include aid stops and your assigned start wave when assessing the 10:20 gate; a comfortable average pace on a watch does not replace the organizer’s clock-based checkpoint.
The published wave schedule begins at 07:00. Follow the wave on your bib and confirm the final marathon allocation, because the page also contains later waves for the half. Runners may move back a wave but may not move forward. Do not use a later half-marathon wave as an assumed extension of the full-marathon cutoff.
Friday and Saturday collection takes place at the Cornhusker Marriott, while race-morning collection is listed at Cook Pavilion. Those are different locations. Build the collection visit into arrival plans and leave extra time if collecting on Sunday. The organizer recommends parking downtown and walking to the campus start; a nearby street on a normal day may be closed during the event.
Water points are described as roughly one and a half miles apart, with gels on the marathon’s second half. Confirm the final products and practise what you plan to consume, including anything needed before those later stations. At the finish, agree on a meeting place around Memorial Loup rather than asking supporters to drive to the line. Keep the current course map and participant instructions available offline.
