Sunday marathon with two different route loops
The published collection windows are Friday, May 7 from 17:00 to 20:00 and Saturday, May 8 from 09:00 to 17:00. Include a Delta Fredericton visit before race morning. The airport in the race’s sponsor name is not the start location; use the Queen’s Square and St. John Street instructions when planning arrival.
The course description initially sends runners north on St. John Street, along Queen Street and across Westmorland Street Bridge toward the Northside Trail. Later it returns toward Aberdeen Street before starting the second loop. Study the current full map rather than assuming the marathon is two identical repetitions of the half-marathon course.
The second portion uses the Crosstown and Lincoln trails, Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge and the Gibson Trail toward Marysville. Bridges, trail junctions and street crossings make the route sequence useful to know in advance. Follow full-marathon signs even when other distances are nearby, and avoid sudden pace changes when the available path narrows.
The organizer labels the route subject to city approval. Recheck the final map, aid locations and any access changes before race week; a detailed proposed route is not a guarantee that every turn will remain identical. Choose a pacing plan that allows for turns and bridge approaches, then confirm collection, gear and finish arrangements separately from the broader May 7–9 festival programme. Save the final approved map offline so a poor mobile connection does not obscure the correct route.
