A 15:00 start and two laps through Forssa and Tammela
The Suvi-ilta running programme lists the June 19, 2027 marathon at 15:00 on Urheilukentänkatu. The course runs twice through the Forssa and Tammela road circuit, returning via Kuusto, with a six-hour completion window. The ice hall beside the start area serves as the event centre. This is an afternoon marathon routine, not a reason to copy an early-morning breakfast schedule unchanged.
Practise a familiar meal and snack sequence that leaves you comfortable at a mid-afternoon start. Keep the hours before reporting relatively simple rather than spending the whole morning walking around the event. Confirm when you can collect your number, store belongings and access the start so that those tasks do not all compete for the last half hour.
The marathon aid table lists water and sports drink at 14 points, with additional food at selected locations. Use that list to identify what is available on each lap and where your own fuel fills a gap. Do not assume the half marathon's seven stations provide the complete sequence for your second circuit.
Learn the continuation onto lap two before the race. The half marathon is part of Finnish Halfs, but completing its route once is not the full-marathon finish. For supporters, specify which pass they are watching and arrange a meeting after the eventual finish rather than at the first return. Check late-day transport and accommodation plans against a realistic finish time, including collection of belongings and food afterwards, not simply six hours added to your arrival at the venue.
