Dao House buses and a rolling early start
The organizer’s Sunrise Achievers option starts at 04:45 for slower runners and walkers aiming to finish by 11:15. That group must use the 04:00 shuttle. Select the appropriate category and bus during registration; an early-start option is an organized arrangement, not permission to begin whenever you arrive.
The page says participants must use the provided buses, while also describing private drop-off across from the property. Private vehicles are prohibited from entering Dao House. Resolve the permitted drop-off arrangement with the organizer if needed, and do not plan to park at the start or retrieve a vehicle there using a promised post-race shuttle.
The large initial descent can tempt runners into an effort their legs cannot sustain later. Practise controlled downhill running gradually, keep the opening section restrained and account for the subsequent climbs. Mountain scenery and net descent do not remove the effects of altitude or the work required on the rolling parts of the course.
With no start-area gear drop, choose pre-start clothing and what you carry around the actual rules. Confirm the final collection window, bus slot and bag arrangements before race week. Some general website sections still show older pricing and labels, so use the dated marathon instructions and your registration confirmation for the 2027 category. A half-marathon or virtual-entry timetable does not establish your full-marathon logistics.
