Pass the Palladium at halfway and meet the second-loop deadline
The event homepage confirms April 17, 2027. The full-marathon page lists an 08:10 start after the 5 km and 10 km events. Its route visits Hamilton County, Carmel parks and the Arts and Design District before returning to the performing-arts area. Read the full map because the halfway return is not the finish for marathon entrants.
The current schedule requires runners to start the second loop by 11:25 and finish by 14:40. Compare both deadlines with a realistic elapsed pace, including stops, rather than relying only on the stated 6.5-hour overall allowance. If your present preparation does not support that schedule, a different distance or later race is a better choice than an unsustainable early pace.
The Friday, April 16 expo is listed for 11:00–21:00, with its location still marked to be determined. Standard entry requires packet collection there; race-day collection is an extra option purchased during registration. Confirm that you actually have that option before planning to arrive on Saturday morning.
The aid list includes water, lemon-lime Gatorade Endurance and Pure Fuel at selected stations. Check the final 2027 menu and positions, then practise any product you plan to use. The course is described as flat to rolling with some hills, so aim for steady effort rather than forcing exactly the same pace on every rise.
