Official date status
Atlantic City Marathon is listed for October 18, 2026. This date refers to the race represented in this guide; other distances and expo activities may run on different days.
Official date information checked on 2026-10-18. This check covers the date status, not entry availability or final race operations.
The October full marathon continues beyond the half turnaround
The full route combines Atlantic City streets with substantial Boardwalk running before extending through the other Absecon Island communities. Follow full-distance signs at the half-marathon split. The half turns at Baton Rouge Avenue on the Boardwalk, while the marathon continues toward the Longport divider turnaround.
The organizer lists intermediate cutoff locations as well as the 14:30 finish closure: the 10K split at 09:58, the half-distance checkpoint at 11:15 and Longport mile 20.5 at 13:00. Compare those with a realistic elapsed plan. A nominal six-and-a-half-hour finish does not override an earlier checkpoint deadline.
Packet collection is listed at Bally’s Treymore Ballroom on Friday, October 16, 15:00–19:00 and Saturday, October 17, noon–17:00. Bag check is on the Boardwalk in front of Bally’s and accepts one bag per runner, not loose clothing or suitcases. Plan collection and storage before the Sunday start.
The official registration page currently marks the 2026 full marathon sold out. The same race series advertises an April 2027 half marathon and a June five-mile beach run; neither confirms an October 2027 full-marathon date. Keep the event, distance and year together when following a registration link or arranging a future race trip. Use the final traffic advisory to choose a supporter meeting away from active Boardwalk timing mats.
