Lake Raku, separate transitions and a four-lap marathon
The organizer confirms August 7, 2027 for the full distance. Use that date rather than the Sunday 70.3 schedule. The detailed course page names Lake Raku, while older summary material still refers to Stroomi Beach as the swim venue. Use the final full-distance athlete map to plan swim access and treat older beach-swim descriptions as superseded previews.
T1 is beside Lake Raku near Karuse and Sinirebase streets, with approximately 300 m from the swim exit. T2 and the finish are in front of Unibet Arena. Confirm the next guide’s transport and bag arrangements for these separate locations before deciding where to stay or where supporters should meet you.
The bike description has two countryside loops but three passes at the turnaround near the arena; athletes enter T2 on the third pass. That distinction is more useful than simply remembering a loop count. Review the final route sequence and keep a simple personal record so you do not enter transition early.
The 42.2 km run preview uses four laps between Rocca al Mare and Stroomi Beach. The source lists a bike personal-needs station passed twice and separate aid information, all subject to the final guide. Practise your own fueling and equipment routine, then confirm the actual 2027 collection rules, cutoff times and supplies before relying on them.
