The useful answer
The 67th BREMBO Ostrava City Marathon is September 6, 2026. The organizer lists Masaryk Square as the start location and says online registration is open through August 28 at 23:59, with in-person registration available only on Saturday, September 5 while capacity remains.
The event lists a marathon, half marathon, 10 km, relays and a mini marathon. The organizer says refreshments are provided roughly every 5 km and at the finish. Use the current Czech organizer rules for exact distance starts, limits and eligibility.

Late-start training decision
Race day is seven weeks away on July 20. This is not enough time to build marathon durability from scratch. If you already have a stable long-run base, use the remaining weeks to protect consistency, rehearse fueling and arrive healthy. If you do not, choose a shorter listed distance or a later marathon instead of compressing a normal build.
Execution checklist
- Confirm the exact start time, route and cutoff for your distance in the current propositions.
- Test the products and carrying system used between roughly 5 km aid points.
- Rehearse the start-area arrival plan for Masaryk Square.
- Check the current forecast and adjust pace rather than relying on September assumptions.
- Do not add last-minute mileage to create confidence.
What this page does not claim
The organizer page verified here confirms the date, square, registration windows and approximate aid spacing. It does not justify an elevation total, forecast or generic personal time target. The current map and rules supersede this summary.
Gait-changing pain, fainting, chest pain or severe symptoms require stopping and appropriate care. A near event date does not make them training problems.
